Okay, this could be exciting. Since I have a reservation for the Nissan Leaf (and apparently it is a priority reservation, probably since I am in Southern California and I am generally a squeaky wheel), I was invited to test drive the Leaf at the AltCar Expo on October 1.

My friend Andy (the Silk Baron) has asked to accompany me. In an ideal world I would drive over in my Chevy Volt, just to give Nissan a little pause, but that's not going to happen. You know, unless GM wants to give me the keys to the one they just used on Running Wilde.

So make sure to return on October 2, when I will post a review of the Leaf, which right now is still on the list of possible cars.
